In the documents sent to the UK’s Competition and Market Regulator (CMA), the company justifies that buying Activision Blizzard is not anti-competitive, and also says that Call of Duty “is not that important.” Finally, Microsoft revealed the possible release date of GTA 6:
“The long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released in 2024,” the company stated.
Recall that previously, the portals TechRadar and Bloomberg also came to publish that the release of GTA 6 should happen in approximately two years. So far, Rockstar Games, the developer responsible for the title, has not yet revealed the official premiere date of Grand Theft Auto VI.

Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto game will continue as planned and we hope to remain committed to delivering an experience for you, our players, that truly exceeds our expectations. We’ll have more news soon, and of course we’ll introduce you to this next game when everything is ready. We thank you all for your continued support throughout this situation.
